Job Summary
We are looking for curious, analytical, and forward-thinking problem-solvers to join our Subsurface Imaging team at Viridien as part of our Tech Talent Program 2026 in a full-time position.
In this role, you will apply your knowledge of physics, mathematics, and technology to solve challenges across energy, infrastructure, and Earth data solutions. Working alongside industry experts, you will contribute to cutting-edge projects that redefine how we explore and understand the Earth’s subsurface.
To support your success, we provide structured onboarding, comprehensive technical training, and ongoing mentorship. You will learn how to transform raw seismic data into high-resolution 3D subsurface models, generating insights that support sustainable exploration and environmental stewardship.
In this role, you will:
Apply advanced physics, mathematics, and geoscience principles to process and interpret seismic data.
Use state-of-the-art imaging techniques and high-performance computing (HPC) to tackle complex geophysical challenges.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and improve algorithms, tools, and workflows.
Work closely with Research and Software Development teams to help shape next-generation technologies.
Contribute to scientific publications, present findings, and support innovation across the organization and the wider geophysical community.

Qualifications:
A PhD or Master’s degree in Geophysics, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
A collaborative mindset, curiosity, and a genuine interest in innovation and continuous learning.
