Salary circa £65K

Hybrid working pattern: Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working – such as 3 days onsite, 2 days remote. This role will also involve travel to meet customers, UK an international, as needed.
High-profile, exciting opportunities have arisen within the Airborne Systems Integration Sector to lead the introduction of MBDA capabilities onto the Future Aircraft Platforms and Remotely Piloted Air Systems.
The nature of the platforms mean that these roles will help shape future MBDA capability from Airborne Systems and will provide the successful candidate with unrivalled exposure to end user requirements.
The Opportunity- Managing programmes and relationships with Platform Design Organisations, including oversight of the technical requirements and ownership of the respective programmes and contracts.
- Coordinating MBDA integration activities on designated integration contracts.
- Responsible for the co-ordination of all MBDA deliverables associated with Integration programmes.
- Overall programme authority for Weapon system integration and for interfacing with the relevant MBDA missile project Chief Engineers and Sector Heads/Business Leaders.
- Management and co-ordination of MBDA programme activities to achieve the integration of MBDA Weapon Systems onto designated Platforms. Including interfacing with the Project Aircraft Integration team and the Weapon Systems Business and Performance team.
- Where permitted, responsible for the international co-ordination of Weapon Integration on designated platforms across MBDA Natcos to achieve a consistent approach and associated synergies and savings.

The Airborne Systems Integration Team is responsible for the strategically important role of ensuring and delivering weapon system capability installed on military aircraft.
This function is essential to enabling access to wider markets and is critical to ensuring excellent whole-system capability for MBDA's products. The Team has very broad interaction with customers, from end users, front line commands and procurement agencies.
Furthermore, the team works with other aircraft industries to ensure weapon system integration meets the domestic and future customer requirements. The roles within the team offer exceptional levels of visibility to the wider business and, therefore, provide an excellent foundation to progress from. While this leadership role requires the occupant to operate with autonomy and be accountable, the wider Airborne Systems Integration team provides support and guidance.
