Salary: £34,000 to £38,000

The Opportunity
This role sits within the Programmes Export Operations Directorate, which operates across all MBDA national companies.
Offset is where we have an obligation to undertake activities within a specific country, in support of an export delivery contract. It can either be a package of work linked to the contract (direct offset), a package of work that isn't associated with the contract but is aligned to MBDA's business (semi-direct offset), or work that is unrelated to the contract or MBDA's core business (indirect offset).
Industrial Participation is where we work closely with export partners to transfer MBDAs (or our Suppliers) technology and knowledge such that they can build their own equipment under a licence agreement and sell to their domestic Customer.
This role will be responsible for supporting UK Offset and Industrial Partnership delivery, forging relationships with in-country partners and authorities and internal teams to ensure:
The Offset or Industrial Partnership Contract is maintained and negotiated (as necessary) throughout the life of the Contract;
Existing contracts are delivered on time and to cost;
New Offset and Industrial Partnership requirements are understood and deliverable ahead of bid submission / contract signature; and
Offsets credits and licence / royalty fees claimed, liabilities removed and Agreements closed
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Support Offset and Industrial Partnership programmes, ensuring budgets are maintained and that the programme is delivered on time
Support and input into the UK Offset & Industrial Partnership Managers relating to the country strategy
Involvement in communications to internal stakeholders and Offset Authority/Industrial Partners, helping to ensure that they are aware of the current status of programme delivery, risk and cost management
Provide support to contract administration, including amendments, as necessary
Supporting offset claims and administration of licence and royalty fees, including removing liabilities and closing agreements
Provide input to bids relating to new offset/Industrial Partnership requirements
Collect knowledge, best practice and lessons learned to ensure MBDA is appropriately equipped and structured with the right processes to successfully deliver Offset and Industrial Partnership obligations
Provide functional and transversal support to the overall Programmes Export Operations organisation to identify efficiencies and improvements

Relationship building experience (both external and internal)
Organisational and presentation skills; ability to analyse and interpret data and present results
Ability to operate flexibly and be tenacious and pragmatic when dealing with ambiguity
Ability to work with a high degree of personal initiative
Project Management skills, with a focus upon ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget and quality
Awareness of external agreements and the approach to the execution of said agreements
