The purpose of this role is to provide administrative and practice management support to QBE’s global Technology team, in particular the architecture document repository, governance meetings, workflow, technology estate repository, KPI tracking/measurement, architecture reporting and training. The role holder will actively contribute and work closely with Technology teams across the organization - the role will have a direct impact on the overall effectiveness of Technology design and QBE ensuring quality, cost effective and timely delivery.
How will you help? - Actively look for ways to continuously improve the services delivered by the Technology team, helping to identify, resolve or remove issues and obstacles.
- Administer Technology Team Processes
- Training the Tech community on changes
- Proactively look for solutions to obstacles that prevent the Tech community from delivering efficiently or to the right level of quality
- Undertake governance and assurance activities
- Monitor ongoing compliance with standards and intervene when this deviates or slips
- Contribute to the definition of and automated collection of a consistent set of metrics and reports
- Actively participate in community forums and events, fostering good working relationships with those in your aligned functional areas
- Promote the adoption of best practice and acceptable standards across the team
- Provide expert consultancy / support in the use of tools and techniques
- Manage and motivate members of your community of practice or aligned area(s) to adopt the frameworks, processes and tools provisioned
Your story so far... - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Good Excel and/or PowerBI experience
- Strong Data Mapping skills
- Highly articulate with effective written and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong experience of tracking and managing KPI measurements
- Demonstrable experience in training process and standards
- Experienced in Office 365 and related Microsoft tools
