The Role: Economist/Research Assistant
The Team:
S&P Global Market Intelligence has an extensive global economics team focused on delivering insightful, forward-looking analysis. Economists across the team work closely with a broad range of other research functions within the business.
The Impact:
The economics team supports the commercial expansion of the Market Intelligence division of S&P Global through the provision of forecasts and analysis across a broad spectrum of economies and thematic issues to a diverse range of multi-national clients.

Responsibilities:
- Support colleagues in data collection and analysis
- Assist in the development of graphics and innovative ways to present data
- Respond to external and internal client inquiries
- Interact and coordinate with other regional, data, and analytical groups
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree in economics, preferably with some prior work experience
- Solid quantitative skills
- Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint
- Fluency in spoken and written English; familiarity with other European languages a plus
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Dynamic self-starter, enjoys working in teams
