Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 1 year of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and deliver high-quality work.
- Ability to self-direct individual contributions.
- Ability to scope problems and implement solutions.

This role supports creative coders and artists in residence, ensuring the stability, security, and launch readiness of public-facing experiments utilizing external models like Gemini and internal models. This is a fast paced role, with a very varied set of demands, connecting the external world and the internal process.

Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code. Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
- Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
- Prepare experiments for launch via configuration management. Implement and maintain endpoints to proxy internal GenAI services. Help prevent and address security vulnerabilities, assist in implementing mitigation measures. Rebuild and redeploy existing experiments, update them to new runtimes, APIs, ML models etc.
