Role Overview As an AI Strategy Consultant, you will support our clients in shaping how they can capture the value of AI across their customer-facing functions. You will work with both client stakeholders and across Accenture to identify, prioritise, incubate places where AI can really move the needle on client business objectives. You will use your deep knowledge of how AI and wider technology works to cut through the poetry and hype, and draw out and nurture what is real and achievable.
Key Responsibilities - Discover - Work with client stakeholders across a variety of business domains and industries, and within their data/AI domain, to understand their metrics, goals and challenges. Stay current on AI industry trends and capabilities, including foundation models and ecosystem partners.
- Describe - Assess & analyse the current state of data and AI maturity in client organisations. Identify and articulate potential areas of genuine business value that can be created by AI, as domain maturity or individual use cases.
- Define - Qualify and prioritise where AI can be applied, assessing strategic fit, value casing and technical & operational feasibility unique to the client’s circumstances. Summarise, communicate, listen and influence clients about what is right for them; facilitate their decision making.
- Deliver - Ensure that strategy transitions successfully into execution, by helping teams go deep on delivery planning. Advocate for the critical decisions that must be retained. Be part of a handover / mobilisation team to ensure project success, when required, for example as business analyst, delivery coordinator or technical architect.
QualificationRelevant Skills & Experience- Deep understanding of how AI works (able to differentiate and guide others on the differences between typical uses of AI, leading edge capabilities and science fiction)
- Solid understanding of Data foundations (working knowledge of data platforms, data governance, data quality and how they contribute to AI outcomes)
- Working with at least one “customer” domain and typical AI use cases - marketing (content + martech), customer service (self-service + contact centers), commerce (buying journey + merchandising), digital experiences & products
- Working with at least one of our client industry groups - Comms Media & Technology, Financial Services, Health & Public Services, Products, Resources
- Working in at least one “craft” between product management, project/program management, architecture in an AI context, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Software delivery lifecycle, technology ecosystem and Build / Buy / Partner decisions
- Strategy development, including use of prioritization frameworks / techniques for evaluating a portfolio of projects/opportunities
- Creating business cases, ROI estimations, performance measurement frameworks, cost models for AI/model consumption
- Conducting feasibility assessments, including data availability, technical & operational integration, scaling enablers
- Researching AI solutions across tech ecosystem, start-ups and project case studies
- Planning and facilitating workshops, client interviews and discovery sessions
- Strong communication skills, verbally and written, prepared and off-the-cuff, 1-1 and in group settings, across different functional groups (business, design, technical, etc.)
