OVERVIEW OF THE DEPARTMENT/SECTION
System Planning Desk, Treasury Planning Department, Global Markets Division for Europe, Middle East, and Africa:
This desk is responsible for IT and Digital planning for the Global Markets Division for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EGMD). As part of the front office for Global Markets, this desk handles project initiation, promotion, and post-release maintenance, carrying out various system-related tasks necessary for EGMD to drive its business forward.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- Ensure the stability and reliability of market systems to support business operations.
- Drive continuous improvement in system performance and user satisfaction.
- Provide expert support to system users, ensuring seamless operation of market-related applications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and maintain production environments to ensure system stability.
- Lead the response and resolution of system incidents, collaborating with system owners and other stakeholders to minimize downtime.
- Provide technical support and guidance to system users, addressing their queries and issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement system enhancements and improvements.
- Document and maintain operational procedures to ensure consistent and effective system support practices.
- Conduct regular system health checks and performance tuning to optimize efficiency.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Essential:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production support or reliability engineering within financial markets or related industries.
- Leading problem determination by collaborating with stakeholders.
- Monitoring and Investigating regarding system inquiries independently.
- Proven track record of managing and resolving system incidents in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience collaborating with development teams to implement system enhancements and improvements.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a front office environment within a financial institution.
- Previous experience leading a team or project in a production support role.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in financial markets.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
