Job Profile:
Reporting to the Regional Geoscience Senior Financial Controller, the Senior Finance Analyst is part of the Eastern Hemisphere Finance Team which includes Europe and APAC.
In this role you will provide support to Business Managers, with insightful analysis needed to take actions that will maintain/grow business profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Controlling the financial reporting process in line with group policy and financial calendar
- Producing cost center management accounts, monitoring financial performance, reporting & explaining key variances and KPI’s.
- Supporting management with the preparation of budget and financial forecasts, contributing to the broader 3 years business plan.
- Provide support to various projects (investment analysis, financing, audit)
Key Skills:
- Proficient with financial data analysis tools (MS Excel; data retrieve tools) and use of financial databases (Oracle Hyperion or other EssBase cubes)
- Analytical mindset with the desire to understand what lies beyond the numbers.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to work with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Dynamic, open-minded team player with a desire for continuous improvement.
- IFRS 16 knowledge desirable
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- Financial background needed in accounting and controlling with good knowledge of accounting principles and reporting
- Degree or equivalent, could suit a part qualified or newly qualified accountant
- 3-4 years of previous experience in a controlling role within a multicultural environment
- Fluent in verbal and written English
