Overview:
The Corporate Technology Department provides a full IT service to all areas of the MUFG Bank and Securities businesses.
The Applications Integration team is a small team within the wider Architecture & Development area, responsible for developing and supporting the AI and Low Code initiatives togther witha variety of integration processes and the intranet platforms across a number of business areas in MUSI. The team works very closely with the business and with other teams in Technology.
Main Purpose of Role:
The primary purpose of this role is to work within a small team to assist with the development and maintenance of CoPilot and Low Code applications in all areas of the business. As a senior member of the team you will provide leadership and mentoring for other team members and be a key part of the Centre of Excellence in this space. You will be a strong advocate for best practices within this field and have previously been exposed to similar roles within the banking environment. You will help establish the Centre of Excellence and governance frameworks necessary to operate Power Platform technologies within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for AI and Power Platform developments across MUFG’s banking arm and securities business under a dual-hat arrangement. Under this arrangement, you will act and make decisions on behalf of both the bank and the securities business, subject to the same remit and level of authority, and irrespective of the entity which employs you.
Act as a trusted advisor to both the technology team and the business to propose innovative solutions to real-world business problems.
Inspire team members to make the most of AI opportunities and maintain awareness of cutting edge AI technologies.
Ability to develop and maintain CoPilot and Low-Code applications built on the Microsoft Power Platforms and complimentary technologies, from the ground up.
Ability to work closely with business users to define solutions that meet the functional and non-functional requirements.
Balance the development of business functionality with the need to provide robust, supportable solutions within the constraints of a banking environment.
To work closely with the application business owner to ensure changes have the required impact.
Provide mentoring and guidance to other team members and end-users in all aspects of Power Platform usage within regulated environment.
To manage all aspects of testing to ensure successful deployment of changes.
To adhere to agreed standards of development and release/deployment.
Support users as required during UAT.
Skills:
Development of Power Platform components including CoPilot, AI builder, Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI
Experience of Gen AI prompt engineering and integration with Power Platform.
Experience of JavaScript/jQuery/CSS/HTML development.
Experience of connecting Power Platform applications to external data sources such as SQL and SharePoint.
Understanding of security considerations within the Power Platform environment.
Understanding of deployment considerations within an enterprise environment.
Experience of using API’s and other service integration techniques.
Experience of application development within a Banking environment.
