About the OPPORTUNITY We currently have a new and exciting opportunity as a Training Specialist and Facilitator to join our Maritime Digital Data and Cyber (DDC) team based in Osborne, South Australia. This role initially offers one-year fixed term contract.

Reporting to the DDC (Digital Data and Cyber) Maritime Training Lead, you will be responsible to develop a range of materials and executive training in a strategic manner that best supports the maritime line of business. This also includes building and facilitating applicable learning environments specific to the DDC scope of work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Undertake all assigned training activities in accordance with the identified project directives and standards
- Capture accurate records of training delivery and assist with preparing records as required to support training governance
- Support Maritime Acquisition and DDC group to help meet contractual training obligations
- Apply principles of instructional design to build blended digital training materials, including engaging online eLearning content for digital technology
- Work closely with project stakeholders to develop a training strategy and plan in alignment with the project
- Provide regular status information to all relevant stakeholders and assist in the development of project infrastructure such a tools of deployment, metrics allocation and process development
About YOU - Demonstrated training experience with familiarity in using Learning Management Systems for content management
- An ability to work in a fast paced, large scale defence environment with and experience working with ADDIE methodology is highly desirable
- Strong communication skill (both oral and written) and problem-solving skill with a strategic and collaborative mindset
- Excellent customer service skills with an ability to work under pressure and prioritise accordingly
- Experience using Captivate, Articulate 360 (or similar), SharePoint, and Kanban boards is highly desirable
- Degree or formal qualification in technical training, with a minimum Certificate IV in Training and Assessment at the current release/ or equivalent industry experience
