Job Title: Data & Analytics - Alteryx Support Specialist

Salary: Circa £47,500 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing: - Act as the technical lead, offering expert support across the Alteryx product suite to all users and delivering value through best practices
- Provide technical leadership and guidance, focusing on developing and promoting new key functionality for wider use across BAE Systems
- Manage internal and external suppliers to meet agreed service levels, challenging where necessary to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with developers to manage incidents and resolve Alteryx-related issues, applying advanced problem-solving skills
- Oversee Alteryx service activities, including administration, query resolution, and troubleshooting product faults
- Lead Alteryx product upgrades, ensuring alignment with BAE Systems’ requirements
- Support architects and development teams to ensure a smooth transition of future Alteryx deliverables into service
- Transfer critical Alteryx skills to department staff, enhancing the skill set of internal developers
- Ensure compliance with BAE Systems’ IT policies, operational standards, and governance framework through close collaboration with key enablers (IM&T) and standard setters (Shared Services D&A Architecture team)
Your skills and experiences: Essential
- In-depth knowledge of the Alteryx product suite, with particular expertise in Designer; familiarity with Server is also advantageous
- Solid experience in a data-driven environment
- Ability to swiftly grasp best practices and provide feedback within proposed solutions and broader content
Desirable:
- Experience working within a service-focused environment
- Exposure to ServiceNow and Atlassian JIRA
- Familiarity with the ITIL framework
- Experience working with the Windows Operating System
