Job Title: ServiceNow Product Developer

Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience and skills
What you’ll be doing: - Translates ServiceNow software requirements into workable programming code and to maintain and develop programs for use in the business. The ServiceNow developer role involves building, testing, implementing and supporting applications using programming languages and development tools including Javascript, HTML, CSS, Jelly, REST API, SOAP, basic working knowledge of Powershell
- Reviewing functionality and applications on the ServiceNow platform and code to see how it supports the business process and policy
- Maintaining the ServiceNow platform including general housekeeping, data cleansing, reduction of technical debt, bug fixes and configuration
- Developing proposed solutions, configuration of Out of The Box (OOB) and writing the programme code to develop the solution
- Technical testing of ServiceNow in controlled non-Production environments before go live
- Presenting ideas for ServiceNow platform and service improvements
- Support the delivery of software development using scrum methodology
Your skills and experiences: - Awareness of business unit policies and processes
- Experience of working in an IT function and software project delivery
- Knowledge of ServiceNow and ITIL processes
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (Preferred)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (Preferred)
- Good experience of working within Agile Methodologies (Preferred)

The ServiceNow Product team: The ServiceNow product team is accountable for the operational integrity, maintenance, and development of the ServiceNow enterprise instance including ESC.
