We are looking for a talented talent acquisition business partner with fresh perspectives and a deep curiosity to join our Viridien Houston office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting activities in North America to support Viridien in attracting the best talent across all business lines. You will also support university relations and employer branding initiatives to reinforce our brand awareness in the region while providing global support to the Talent Acquisition (TA) team as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for full-cycle recruiting efforts across North America for all business units and locations.
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality hiring process that delivers an exceptional candidate experience.
- Provide expertise on sourcing methodologies within your region, effectively using social media and other tools to identify specific candidate pools, developing a strong knowledge of Viridien and the markets we recruit from.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their business needs; share and discuss market trends; and navigate trade-offs between market, speed and quality while setting clear expectations on SLA.
- Build strong working relationships with Business, HR CoEs and HRBPs
- Represent Viridien to the highest standard at every opportunity helping to strengthen the Viridien employer brand in the region and participate in branding efforts and university recruitment events.
- Participate in CoE projects and initiatives as required at country, regional, as well as global levels when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, organizational development, or a related field.
- 7 + years of progressive recruiter experience with at least 3 years managing technical full-cycle talent searches (agency and in–house recruiting experience). Previous experience in the tech/IT industry is preferred.
- A demonstrated track record of excellence in sourcing, assessing and delivering challenging and complex searches.
- Tech-savvy – ability to adopt quickly new technology and systems. Experience using ATS, CRM, and other HR Analytics tools in daily activities (Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Talent Insights, Talent Neuron and other).
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment and comfortable to interact with all levels of management.
- Effectively manage and execute several challenging priorities at the same time.
- Fluent in English. A second language would be a plus (ideally Spanish).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to interact with all levels of employee in the organization.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Thrives in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
